Description
Your humble admins, Yasha and Vanna, have enjoyed a decades-spanning relationship with a local Celtic-inspired artist named Maggie Murray. We’ve helped her, she’s helped us, and in 2019 she gifted us a few pieces of Utena-themed art. I say themed, because she hadn’t seen the series! She’d only seen some of the production art in our home! Between the inspiration she got from that, and learning about the Japanese pun that had been making the rounds during our streams of the 2018 and 2019 Utena musicals: homodachi, a play on ‘tomodachi’, which is friend… well. Here we are!
With her permission and blessing, I (Vanna) have fidgeted with the design for the purpose of sale for Empty Movement, and am finally releasing it! I’m pretty proud of the work I did correcting the Sword of Dios, especially. For the sticker/magnet, I am sticking with the larger format because smaller ones will lose the detail, but I’m happy with both of them in the test run. Here they are in action:

Cool huh?? And for the curious, this is the original piece by Maggie Murray:
